About Me
A lifelong resident of Lake Forest Park, I've lived here for more than 35 fulfilling years—from attending LFP Elementary, Kings, and Shorecrest High School, to raising my own family in Horizon View alongside my husband and two children. My roots here run deep, this community isn’t just my home, it’s where my passion and purpose converge.
I graduated from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business with a BA, later on earned an MBA along with insurance industry credentials (REBC & GBDS). For over 18 years, I’ve worked in employee-benefits consulting—currently with DiMartino Associates.
Since 2022, I’ve served on the Lake Forest Park Planning Commission, including time as Chair. I played a key role in drafting our updated Comprehensive Plan and Middle-Housing recommendations, ensuring future growth honors the character of our city while meeting community needs.
In summer 2025, I was honored to be appointed to fill the interim City Council Position 2, and was sworn in on June 6. I now serve the community in that role through November 2025, while continuing to advocate for thoughtful strategic planning, responsible budgeting, and inclusive engagement.
Outside of work and civic life, I’ve volunteered as a trustee on the Goodwill of the Olympics & Rainier Region board (2023–present), I govern the Under One Tree Foundation (2025) with my husband to provide resources for underserved families in our community, I’ve been an active part of my church’s worship team as a drummer since 2015, and hosted beloved community events like the Horizon View Park Easter egg hunt, seasonal North Pole Post, and Lyon Creek Open, a charity golf event benefitting Vision House.
